At Cold Concepts we design our systems using the lowest GWP refrigerants for the application, and in consultation with the customer on their Budget. Cold Concepts helps the environment by providing refrigeration systems using Co2. We have now installed several Trans critical Co2 plants with a focus on low GWP refrigerants and lower energy consumption systems. We also use the Glycol method which utilises chilled Glycol to link multiple refrigeration coolrooms to a secondary Glycol chiller refrigeration system. Besides lowering running costs by up to 25% and reducing gas charges by 80%, the system also improves food quality and reduces wastage in a commercial refrigeration application.
